Renze Hot Spring

At the foot of Taiping Mountain, the hot spring used to be called “Hot Water.” It was developed into a hot spring area during Japanese Rule and called “Xuze Hot Spring” or “Jiuze Hot Spring.” After Taiwan’s retrocession, it was renamed Renze Hot Spring. The area is rich in natural ecology.

The calcium carbonate spring is clear and odorless. Besides bathing in the hot spring, visitors can also cook eggs in it or walk along the windy shaded trail to enjoy forest spa.         The geothermal heat in Qingshui Creek Valley on the south side of Qingshui Village in Sanxing Township of Yilan County has been developed into a geothermal heat resource.
